Biography
Will's practice involves data privacy and cybersecurity. As a CMMC-AB Registered Practitioner (RP) and Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), he has advised many leading companies on privacy and security matters, including global technology companies, publicly traded corporations, U.S. Department of Defense contractors, automotive suppliers, financial institutions, and professional services firms.
Will's experience includes cybersecurity incident response and data breach counsel following ransomware, brute force, and email phishing attacks. He assists clients in addressing global privacy and security regulations, including DFARS 252.204-7012, CMMC, CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, HIPAA, and GLBA, and in implementing robust information security programs.
It is Will’s passion for technology that inspired him to establish a firm dedicated to privacy and cybersecurity challenges. He prides himself on providing clients with valuable service imbued with competence, integrity, and trust.

As a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), Adriana possesses extensive knowledge of global data privacy regulations, including CCPA and GDPR, and assists in the development of IT, data privacy, and security agreements.
Prior to joining Relic Law, Adriana served as a summer associate with a leading Detroit law firm and as a legal extern to a multinational communications conglomerate. Her unique experience in law and communications enables her to advise on strategies involving crisis communications and data breach notification.
In her practice, Adriana provides sophisticated compliance strategy and valuable insight and perspectives in response to major data privacy and security incidents where managed communications and optics are critical.

Biography
Tara's practice involves regulatory compliance and federal administrative proceedings. She advises on matters of government policy and industry-specific legal obligations, including HIPAA, and various other U.S. state and federal privacy laws.
Prior to joining Relic Law, Tara spent 8 years providing legal counsel on administrative matters at the Social Security Administration. From her experience at the Universiteit Maastricht, the Netherlands, she brings both substantive knowledge of EU law and a valuable international perspective to the firm's practice.
In her practice, Tara seeks to draw upon her knowledge of federal administrative processes and procedures to help clients successfully navigate their U.S. federal and state regulatory and administrative law challenges.

He was previously a Principal at Miller Canfield Paddock & Stone, where he served as Chair of the Recruiting Committee.
Saura began his career as a federal judicial clerk to the Hon. Julian Abele Cook, Jr., of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. A member of the California and Michigan bars, Saura is a Past President of the Federal Bar Association (E.D. Mich. Chap.) and is a Life Fellow of the prestigious American Bar Foundation.

Prior to joining Relic Law, Eugene assisted in intellectual property (IP) and patent law matters as a student associate at a leading national law firm. In his career before law school, Eugene was responsible for the strategy and design of cybersecurity systems for Volkswagen AG and ORACLE.

John holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan where he studied Political Science, History, and Music and is preparing to enter the practice of law. He possesses an extensive background in data privacy compliance, IT contract language, and data protection agreements.
Prior to joining Relic Law, John served as a HIPAA privacy professional for the largest health insurance provider in Michigan and then as a Data Privacy subject matter expert for a global leader in workforce management solutions. In his career before law school, John led privacy incident risk assessments, prepared data protection agreements, and served on a special task force aimed at implementing GDPR and CCPA controls across a global organization.
As a 2021 JD candidate, John seeks to assist Relic Law with special projects by crafting unique and creative solutions for a wide variety of clients that will minimize the risk associated with data privacy and security incidents.

Richard is a career information privacy and security professional with significant experience advising global companies on risk management and legal compliance. His expertise involves designing and operationalizing privacy and security programs at large organizations in data-intensive environments.
Prior to joining Relic Law, Richard served as an advisor in the privacy and cybersecurity practices of two Big Four advisory firms, as well as serving as a client-facing consultant for IBM Global Business Services and Hewlett-Packard.
Richard holds a MS in Management Information Systems (MIS) in addition to a Juris Doctorate and is pursuing a Master of Laws in Trial Advocacy with a certificate in Privacy. Richard holds numerous privacy credentials from the IAPP, including: CIPM, CIPT, CIPP/G, CIPP/US, CIPP/E, and CIPP/C.
